Absolutely. The entire reason why they try to make economic theory sound as complicated and convoluted as possible is so that they can literally rob the public blind and then gaslight them into thinking they're just crazy and don't understand the situation as soon as people start copping onto their schemes. It's daily robbery. They have the governments wrapped around their fingers and it's all one big criminal club.
The sheer scale of corruption is so out of control at this stage, no reformative measures could possibly root it out, because it has become an integral part of fundamental operations and is deeply entrenched in the system itself.
Yes, a lot of new-fangled financial tricks were pulled in the aftermath of 2008 besides QE and they use euphemisms for all their most toxic products and maneuvers; I'd say we don't even know the half of it, and what we do know it bad enough.
We'll learn some of what they've really been up to once the whole ponzi scheme goes to s**t once again and they come looking for taxpayer money and "structural reform" (ie. looting social welfare).
If representative democracy was functioning in any way, shape or form none of this would be happening; that's how we know for sure that it's all a farce. As you said before, the people have literally no one to defend them or represent them. It's shameful and disgusting.
Then we're meant to put up with their sons and daughters pulling the same crap on the next generation, give us a break!
