Hate to be a stickler Greg, but I have to disagree with u now. The government is not some ephemeral, esoteric entity like the Greek gods on Mount Olympus , hovering over us in the clouds. The government is US. We give them their positions for a reason. They are supposed to organize society so that everyone is safe and taken care of. Of course I don't expect the gov to "fix every irritation", but when u have the monopoly on money and violence, it does come with certain responsibilities that most politicians today have proven themselves incapable of.

Why shouldn't the people speak for themselves, instead of having some "representative" beholden to corporate donors? I say, cut out the middlemen and let's get down to business.
