Hi Geetch, could not have put it better myself. We're living in such a topsy-turvy epoch that you have to master doublespeak to even attempt to comprehend it. Calling for peace and diplomacy has become a criminal act. War = Peace. Freedom = Slavery. Ignorance = Strength.

I knew I would get a backlash for this article, so I was prepared for this, but it still demonstrates the level of visceral contempt there is for those who don't respect the expectation to conform and parrot the mainstream narrative.

Essentially, anyone who threatens the profits of the war machine inevitably ends up as cannon fodder. But I know that I'm not the only one who believes it's time to sit down with Putin. As that study I cited shows, millions of other Europeans feel this way too, but they're afraid to say it. French president Macron was veritably shat upon when he opened his mouth to suggest it was time to negotiate.

'Total victory' is such an Orwellian phrase as well. It's as though we are literally living out a dystopian nightmare and anyone who dares point that out becomes pariah.

Well, I'm willing to play that role if needs be; I don't care what these people think of me, I just don't agree that millions of people should suffer anymore because Zelensky has too much pride to talk to Putin.
