Hi Jack, thanks for the comment. I agree that the history of human civilization is replete with barbarity, dog-eat-dog competition and the corrupt use of power - no argument there. The problem, I feel, lies with the pure hypocrisy of capitalism and its proponents. They present this economic system as a more humane and egalitarian approach to societal organization, and act as though everybody is given a fair chance to succeed, when in reality nothing could be further from the truth. It's a rigged game with severe consequences for losing and there's virtually no way to opt out of it.

This isn't a war between strong and weak like the days of old, it's a war between psychopaths and empaths, of those who want us to stay stuck in the mud and those who want to evolve.

Recognizing and acknowledging the inherent immorality of the economic system we have now is the first step in imagining how we might actually begin to break free from it and collectively evolve past greed and selfishness.

Just because our forbears were barbaric, doesn't mean we have to be or that's how human nature is. This behaviour is circumstantial: we react to threats in our environment and the hyper capitalist state is a very dangerous place indeed.

I will be happy to check out your work, thank you!
