I agree Mr Bush, but the deterioration of the marital institution is mainly economic atm. Who can afford to have big, flashy weddings like the old days? That network and sense of community is simply not there anymore. We are a deeply atomized and individualized people.....hence that support network is not there for most people, married, or otherwise.
