I knew you would bring up Chamberlain's act of appeasement towards Hitler, but this is not the same situation at all.

I'm not saying Ukraine should surrender their sovereignty....merely that Putin is offered a face-saving way of extricating Russia without feeling the need for future retaliation on either side.
