Inequality breeds widespread discontent and malaise and it doesn't matter what rung of the ladder you find yourself on; everybody becomes both a victim of and a slave to it. No matter how much you have, you will always find yourself looking over the fence with envy at your metaphorical neighbour.

It's truly tragic that this system is allowed to continue.
