Lex Friedman is OBSESSED with Elon Musk. At this stage, the downfall of Musk would be an embarrassment to Friedman who has been harping on for years to us all about how much of a genius he is.

He has two choices: admit he's been wrong all along about Musk, or jump in to save the day so that he can save face too. I suspect it will be the latter.
