I've gone through a similarly soul-destroying journey with the publishing industry, before attempting to self-publish on Amazon and then finally removing all of my work to sell independently. Honestly, I would say I have sold about 4/5 books; ridiculous.

It heartens me that in the face of such unimaginable and unrelenting adversity, writers like you can keep going and keep believing in yourself.

Medium has helped me a lot to get my work out there and connect with like-minded individuals.

Keep fighting the good fight. The war has not yet been won.
