Thanks for your comment. I see your point, but I don’t think people forget the plight of Gen X,on the whole, I think it’s just that these problems became far more pronounced and palpable for the Millennials.

The Reagan-Thatcher era in the 80s was the real beginning of neoliberal capitalism, which openly applauded and awarded greed above all else, and I believe it took 10-20 years to see the full impact of these ideologies.

It’s undeniably true that the baby-boomers enjoyed the last fruits of capitalism and the left the following generations with little other than mountains of debt and collapsing eco-systems. Truly a testimony to the ferocity of human greed and egotism, however unintentional it may have been.
