This is neoliberal capitalism, it's global. I've tried to escape it myself - even went as far as living in New Zealand for a year, but I learned there that this really is a global ideology and there are no countries left to flee from it.

Having housing is number 1, and Ireland has nothing on offer in that department; even if you live in the middle of nowhere, you will pay extortionate rates.

The anglophone countries have become basically unliveable if you're poor.

Trust me, I know what you're going through: I've been in the same struggle for so long now it's not even funny. The key is to live in a cheap country and work online. That's my plan.

If you need help navigating Ireland, email me. I'll help you if I can, but if I was you, I would consider bailing before you bankrupt yourself.

The one good thing we have here is a social welfare system. They more than likely won't let you starve....depending on your visa situation.
